Replace or augment the beads in your bead
filter. Make up your own anti-clogging mixture to improve the filtering
abilities of your bead filter by adding to the existing beads in your filter.
Or - replace what you have. Any and all of the beads listed below are
floating beads and tubular wheels that will fit ProBead, ProBead UHF, Aquadyne,
HydroBead and other true bead filters with similar internal design. If
your bead filter is a brand other than the ones we've listed consult with the
Pond Doc to make sure that they will not slip through the laterals and that they
will fit your filter's design.
Type 1 Replacement Floating Beads for ProBead,
Aquadyne and HydroBead Filters
For use in all models and any year models of ProBeads and ProBead UHF series,
Aquadyne and HydroBead filters. These are
our smallest floating beads
(about 3/16") made of plastic and may come in a mixture of colors.
To help you determine how many beads you need, 43 lbs. = 1 cubic foot. If you are
