Performance Pro external pumps are not the least expensive pumps on the market.  They are, in our opinion, the BEST external pump available and certainly worth the extra up front cost.  They are extremely quiet and energy efficient.  The money you save on electricity alone in one year will more than pay the difference in the price from lower-quality competitor's pumps while you enjoy the benefits.  The people at Performance Pro are wonderful to work with and very helpful.  Since we added the line they have become one of our favorite vendors.
